Olivia Erlanger - If Today Were Tomorrow

How do we imagine our place in the world in the current age of "polycrisis," in which many disruptive events are occurring simultaneously? This question runs through Olivia Erlanger's long-term exploration of the symbols and myths of suburban life. For her, "home" is a vast ecosystem that includes not only houses, but also their interiors and the surrounding infrastructure. The book marks Erlanger's first solo museum exhibition in the US, a sweeping survey of her sculptures, films, and installations.
